Cancellation Policy
By scheduling an appointment with Student Loan Coach LLC (also referred to as SLC), you understand that SLC does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. You agree to seek the services of a certified financial planner, registered investment advisor, tax professional, or attorney for inquiries related to these specialized areas of financial planning. You understand that federal loan programs are subject to change at any time, and you are responsible for the financial decisions you make as a result of a coaching consultation. You agree to hold harmless SLC, along with its executives, employees, and associates, for any adverse actions related to financial coaching services. For coaching sessions, you understand that some of the files you upload contain PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and that Student Loan Coach LLC agrees to keep your PII information strictly confidential. SLC does NOT sell client information to third parties in any form. Non-PII information may be used by SLC for market research to improve SLC's product and service offerings or marketing of SLC's current product and service offerings. Non-PII information may include, but is not limited to: debt balances, forgiveness balances, repayment details, annual household income, employment type, financial goals, client's attitudes and perceptions of debt, client scenarios, etc. To opt out of client-specific scenario marketing (ex., SLC helped a teacher from Maryland receive $21,659.83 in student loan forgiveness), please email renee@studentloancoach.com with the subject line: OPT OUT – (Your name) You are not able to opt out of SLC aggregate data market research and general marketing at this time. (ex. SLC has helped over 5,000 borrowers save over $50M on their student loan debt; SLC helps clients save an average of $10,000 on their student loan debt). If you do not want your aggregate data utilized by SLC, please cancel the appointment for a full refund. Cancellation Policy: SLC understands that life happens. If you are unable to attend your coaching session, please reschedule your appointment online. If you are unable to reschedule, the cancellation policy is as follows: >/= 24 hours = 100% deposit refund ($95.00) < 24 hours = 75% deposit refund ($71.25) No show = 50% deposit refund ($47.50) Extenuating circumstances = please email renee@studentloancoach.com
